Liz came to me with one request- to take care of everything. She wanted a relaxing day with absolutely no worry. What she didn't know when she expressed this desire with me was that 'taking care of everything' is exactly what we do- she just didn't know the extent of how far we go...

About a month before the wedding, I sent a picture of Christmas trees used as decor. I thought they'd look great with her Winter Wonderland, and she agreed. Liz was excited about the idea, actually. Fast forward a couple of weeks, she let me know that she had a personal matter arise, and that her communication would be slim. I knew that she wasn't able to get the Christmas tree idea rolling because her time had become very occupied. This is where having a knowledgable, experienced coordinator comes in handy. I wanted to make her Christmas tree dream come to life, so I started contacting other wedding vendors I know in that area to help me make this happen. Next thing you know, my assistant is picking up Christmas trees from a vendor's daughter's house. We made it happen! They weren't the exact vision, but they were Christmas trees, and they made for a stunning ceremony backdrop.

Liz and Larry's pink and red Winter Wonderland was an actual dream! From the stunning drapes hung behind the cake, to the poinsettias everywhere you looked, to the sparkle of the cocktail tables inside. The long table in the center even featured lamps; something I had never seen before. These light fixtures warmed up the space and made it feel home-y. A little detail that my team added was folding the velvet napkins to look like trees.

A little fun-fact about us, we are giddy to fold your napkins. We love getting creative, finding new ways to enhance your vision even more!

A fun aspect of the day that I thought was a fabulous idea was her 'party favors.' I put that word in quotation because these aren't really prioritized anymore. 'Guest gift' would honestly be a better term for this wedding. Liz invited all of her guests to take home a poinsettia. I thought it was a thoughtful gesture, and very smart on Liz's end- she didn't have to cart all of them home!

I will talk about Liz and Larry's day for the rest of my career!
